How to Best Interact with Your Agent OnDemand Webinar
ABOUT THE WEBINAR
You've submitted the query. An agent has read your manuscript and requested a phone call. An offer of representation has been accepted. But there's more to the agent/author relationship than liking a book and hoping it gets published. What's next?
In ondemand webinar, literary agent Kaitlyn Johnson will clarify what truly takes place after The Call. This will include details like the Agency Contract, Author Platform, Editing Rounds, and Going on Submission. Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions pertaining to how the Agent and Author move a story forward together and what happens from the moment the book is read to the moment it's sent to editors. Through her experience with Corvisiero Literary Agency, Kaitlyn will use examples to help writers learn all that an agent offers their client, and what the steps they might take through roadblocks, disagreements, or success.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- How to prepare for The Call
- What different agency contracts may state
