Perfecting POV in Middle Grade and Teen Novels
This presentation with award-winning author G.S. (Gabrielle) Prendergast helps you choose and execute the perfect point of view for your middle grade or teen novel. It includes a review of the most common POVs-first person and third person-while also addressing issues that come up when choosing present or past tense. Gabrielle also discusses the use of dual or multi-POV and the pros, cons and pitfalls of this increasingly popular choice. Students will develop the skills needed to choose and perfect the right POV for their novels.

Gabrielle Prendergast is the award-winning author eight books for children and teens. She lives in Vancouver. She is represented by Barbara Poelle at the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.
